I am going to play around with twitter. Ideally I'd like to use twitter for work and facebook for personal. I did not know about hashtags. I'll give that a try as well.

Thing 3: Photo Sharing

Thing 2

For this week's exercise I looked at my igoogle page, which I had not viewed in 6 months or more. I'm not sure why I stopped using this tool, information overload maybe.  I deleted some gagets and added the RSS link for this class.  I found some sites I really need to keep up with including a tech site from my district.

I showed some of the teachers in my building RSS. Now I want to learn more about +1 which  I read about on Polly's site.

Thing 1

I am the librarian at Pinewood Intermediate School. Our school serves children in grades 3, 4 and 5. Each grade level has 9 or 10 classes. I also teach at the University at Albany in the School Library program.

I life in Niskayuna, have 2 sons and I love to play games. I enjoy scrabble, boggle and mah jongg.

My hope is to keep up with new technologies by taking this course.
